Arab Emirates, Iraq, Egypt, Middle East: What to ask from God

August 07, 2019. For the healing of material and spiritual infirmities

At the general audience on Wednesday morning, August 7, 2019, Pope Francis greeted the Arabic-speaking pilgrims from the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Egypt and the Middle East, present Paul VI Hall.

“So often,” he said to them, “we are asking God for material goods, but He is teaching us to first ask His Kingdom, and all the rest will come in due time. “

“Thus he opens our hearts to true wealth and cures us of our material and spiritual infirmities,” added the Pope, before wishing: “May the Lord bless you and protect you always from the evil one! “
